Marcia Morgan

President

Marcia Morgan graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics; she also holds a Master of Science in Secondary Education and a Ph.D. in Research Methods from The Ohio State University. Marcia’s experience as an Educator includes working in the Head Start program and teaching in the Fort Worth public schools, teaching undergraduate courses at The Ohio State University and the University of California at Berkeley and was on the Graduate Faculty at Smith College.

Marcia eventually left teaching and joined the U.S. Army, retiring as a Colonel after 25 years of service. During her career, she commanded units in four different countries, traveled extensively and had two tours at the Pentagon where she worked in support of the senior officers of both the Army Staff and the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

As the President of Educational Management Program (EMP), Marcia combines her passion for students and improving the lives of others with her leadership skills honed through her time in the military.
